So, we invited Bette Midler and Barbra
Streisand
To join us here around noon.
They sent their regrets and the message reads:
"Good Luck Bonz…we'll do lunch again soon!"
And over the years, you have taught the
parents
Of the kids that you've now got!
Oh, that really MUST explain a lot of things, Sue...
Meeting "the kids of the kids" that you taught!
Retirement - Elementary School
teacher, retiring after teaching 33 years
Presented by the staff.
The poem is 16 verses long.
Ostensibly Alan we've got a problem
There are things that we need to mention.
Put away your Math Book and that calculator..
Now we've got your attention!
You’ve taught us well, it’s our opportunity now
To teach you in return.
There are some things that you need to know,
You’ve still got lots to learn.
But we think you’ve got potential Alan,
And we’ll persevere when put to the test.
We’ll help you to understand these concepts...
After all, we’ve been taught by the best!

Our family would like to thank you
sincerely, Mrs. Jones.
For the hugs that came from your heart.
You've done so many things this year for both our girls...
We really don't know where to start.
And so, we'll begin with the voices of our children...
The truth spoken as children do.
Kate and Amy thrived in class because of your guidance...
We're grateful for their time with you.
Poem for Teacher Appreciation and End of the Year
Presented to First Grade teacher on behalf of twin girls.
Poem is 8 verses long
So David, you may
choose to call it RETIREMENT...
Since
your decision is already made.
But It’s a Fine, Fine
School
that you’re
leaving now…
Thanks to the teachers who teach Fourth
Grade!
But, just before we begin, we’d like to be
certain
That you have all your ducks in a row.
Please line them all up one more time now David…
And count them before you go!

Oh, your
secret is out now, Connie McAdams...
And no matter how hard you try
To pretend it's not true, to defend yourself

There's a rumor that you can't deny!
We heard you're a woman who "gets
around"
Yes, the staff was in disbelief!
But when we discovered that you are a traveler…
You can understand our collective relief!

And you'll be thinking of Andrew and Wendell,
Rex and the Coggin twins too.
You'll think back with fond memories of Marty

You'll reflect for a moment or two...
Remember Mr. Histon and the bathroom ceiling...
Where he put that old picture of YOU!
